Health is one of the most important aspects of our every day life. We need to ask ourselves each morning: Or are we just waking up and just looking for the coffee? It all comes down to mindset. Everyone can become a morning person. In this post, I am going to share with you the start of my journey of exercising, specifically weight-lifting. By doing so, I will become stronger, faster, and be able to jump higher. This post starts off a series of posts which will show my results over the next 3 months.
On workout days, I wake up at 5: Going EARLY is amazing if you want full use of the squat racks, cages, bench presses, free weights, and most of the other exercise equipment! Here is my first workout: It is similar to tracking your net worth over time. You can see trends and make adjustments to maximize your progress! The Mindpump guys have a blend of talents, passions, and experiences in personal training, bodybuilding, and personal transformation, which are interesting to me and other people looking to grow physically. I listen to it most days; they talk about various myths of the workout industry, and different mental and physical exercises for becoming a complete person.
There is an interesting website Tim recommends named stickK. This will keep me motivated, consistent, and constantly improving towards my goals. Finally, I am off to bed! How do you stick to your commitments?
Would love to hear your thoughts! It reminds me of that swear jar commercial. Investing in your health is always a great return on investment!
I need to exercise more this year too. I just may have to put that in place for my goals. Thanks for the reminder!
